One thing I definitely didn’t have on my 2025 bingo card? Chili’s becoming a marketing powerhouse.

The iconic chain known for its Triple Dipper, baby back ribs, and happy hour-priced drinks has been everywhere this year — from influencers rating their favorite menu combos to friends casually suggesting we “grab some Big Mouth Bites after work.” And now, the Texas-born brand is teaming up with another Lone Star legend: Tecovas.

In a collaboration that literally no one saw coming, Chili’s and the Austin-based western-wear company have launched a pair of Chili’s-themed cowboy boots, inspired by the red fabric used in Chili’s signature booths. Yes, those booths ( a memory just flashed into your mind, didn’t it?).

“There’s no place our guests would rather enjoy a Triple Dipper or frozen margarita than a red Chili’s booth,” said Jesse Johnson, Chili’s Vice President of Marketing, in a release. “We thought it would be fun to celebrate this familiar piece of the Chili’s experience by turning it into something truly unexpected for our fans. Our new friends at Tecovas have been the perfect partners in bringing this wild idea to life with their handcrafted boots now reimagined with our booth material.”

The limited-edition drop features styles for both men and women, plus a matching belt, adjustable, of course, for that post-fajita feeling. The collection reimagines two of Tecovas’ best-selling styles: the Annie boot for women (which, full disclosure, might be the most comfortable pair of shoes I own), and the Garrett boot for men, a fan favorite with rave reviews on Tecovas’ site.

Just as Chili’s aims to “Pepper in Some Fun,” these boots bring a playful vibe to a classic silhouette. And true to Tecovas’ ethos, they remain chic, supportive, and high-quality — even if the concept is cheeky in the best way.

“Our collaboration with Chili’s is a celebration of our Texas roots and shared love for comfort, hospitality, and making people feel welcome,” says Sam Fodrowski, Tecovas’ Vice President, Brand and Product Marketing, in a release. “The limited-edition Chili’s x Tecovas collection pays tribute to two American originals, pairing the design and craft of Tecovas with Chili’s iconic red booth, where so many good stories begin. It’s unexpected, fun, and crafted with the same care and attention to detail we bring to everything we do.”

The men’s and women’s boots retail for $345, and the belt comes in at $75. Wear them to a summer concert, line dancing night, or while demolishing a bacon ranch burger. However you style them, you’ll look cool doing it — preferably without any ranch on your face.
