Seokjinnies rejoice — Jin is setting off on his first-ever global tour in anticipation of his upcoming new album, Echo on May 16. Following the completion of his mandatory South Korean military service, Jin is the latest BTS member to embark on a solo venture, following in the footsteps of Suga and J-Hope.
The #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR (a tribute to the singer’s “Run Jin Run” variety show on YouTube) will visit nine cities this summer, with four of them — Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, and Newark, New Jersey — being in the U.S. He’s currently booked for two shows in each city: July 17 and 18 at Anaheim’s Honda Center, July 22 and 23 at Dallas’ American Airlines Center, July 26 and 27 at Tampa’s Amalie Arena, and July 30 and 31 at Newark’s Prudential Center. The tour, which starts off in South Korea and Japan before moving to the U.S., is currently scheduled to conclude in London and then Amsterdam.

‘Happy’ [Ver. 1 Journey] CD
“Jin’s first full-length continues his journey around the rock world, with his winning voice and bright outlook adding panache to synth-washed New Wave and unadorned piano balladry alike,” Rolling Stone’s Maura Johnston wrote in the Happy album review, which released in November of 2024. A press release noted that his follow-up, Echo, “offers Jin’s perspective on universal life experiences, capturing everyday emotions with warmth and sincerity. Built on dynamic band sounds, the album showcases his versatile vocals across a spectrum of moods and styles. It reflects a deeper layer of vocal maturity and personal storytelling that underscores Jin’s evolving artistry.”
