It’s been more than three decades since Disney’s animated tale Beauty and the Beast first hit theaters, but the love for the now-classic musical remains as strong as ever. Beauty and the Beast was remade as a live action film starring Emma Watson in 2017, while H.E.R. and Josh Groban starred in a live TV special in 2022.
Now, the magic continues with merch, as Disney and LEGO unveil an official Beauty and the Beast Castle Building Kit.
NEW RELEASE
LEGO Beauty and the Beast Castle
Available exclusively at The Disney Store online and LEGO.com, the 2,916-piece set features a colorful replica of the Beast’s enchanted castle. The LEGO model features four levels with multiple rooms, including a ballroom with a spinning dance floor and a dining room with spinning platters (just like in the memorable “Be Our Guest” scene from the film). There is also a grand staircase that leads into the castle tower, where the iconic “Enchanted Rose” waits for the spell to be broken.
A ton of other references to the movie abound, including the Beast’s magic mirror, a torch and a tea cart for Chip and Mrs. Potts. There are ten LEGO characters in total here, including Belle, Beast, Gaston, LeFou, Maurice, Lumière and Cogsworth. You’ll also find a LEGO figurine of Fifi and the Wardrobe (though the latter doesn’t sing or play music in this set, unfortunately). The entire castle measures approximately 13 x 21 inches in size.
This LEGO set is designed for adults, though you could really make a family game night out of it. It also makes a great gift for Disney fans and is a great display piece for your home or office. As with many LEGO releases, this one is expected to sell quickly so we recommend adding it to cart while it’s still in stock. See more details here.
