Most of these are Barnes & Noble exclusives, so if you’ve been eyeing these for awhile, now’s the perfect time to spruce up your bookshelves with some of the prettiest covers and bindings I’ve ever seen at low prices. From literary classics and sci-fi epics, to horror masterpieces and mythology collections, there are a ton of great gifts for readers within this sale.

Literary Classics Collector’s Editions
Dante’s Divine Comedy and To Kill a Mockingbird are just some of the literary classics you remember reading from high school (I promise they’re good) that have collector’s editions part of Barnes & Noble’s buy one, get one half off sale. The thick bindings and stylized art make great coffee table decor. The Complete Sherlock Holmes is a massive tome, but contain some of the best mysteries of all time.
Collector’s Edition Horror Greats
Yes, Jurassic Park is horror. Michael Crichton’s novels that inspired the flims are collected in one book here, as are Edgar Allan Poe’s entire works. Other timeless horror books include Dracula and Phantom of the Opera. This printing of Dracula is one of my favorites – that cover and spine give off dusty old spellbook vibes straight from Oblivion.
So Many More Collector’s Editions
Frank Herbert’s Dune and its five sequels (yes, five) have seen no shortage of reprints, collections, and special editions, but this Barnes & Noble version feels much more premium compared to others. Agatha Christie’s timeless Hercule Poirot mysteries also get the Barnes & Noble collector’s edition treatment, and stacking them side by side on your shelf will look great.
The books I’ve gathered here are just scratching the surface of what the Barnes & Noble buy one, get one 50% off sale has to offer. I’m definitely going to take advantage of this sale as an avid reader, but these make the perfect gift for the bookworm in your life, or as the perfect Father’s Day gift.
