Scarlett Johansson has big plans for her hosting gig on Saturday Night Live, and Bad Bunny has even more “awesome” things happening for him this summer. On Thursday, the NBC show released its silly teasers for SNL 50’s finale featuring its two guests alongside cast member Kenan Thompson.
“Hi, I’m Scarlett Johansson, and I’ll be hosting the season finale of SNL this week with musical guest Bad Bunny,” says the actress in the first teaser. “I have a feeling this is going to be the best show of the year… like bigger than the 50th anniversary special… longer than the 50th special.”
“Well, no, because that was like nine hours,” responds Thompson.
“More celebrities in the audience than the 50th special,” says ScarJo.
“Now you’re just being unrealistic!” jokes Bad Bunny, speaking for the first time. Backing him up, Thompson says: “What Bad Bunny said.”
In the second teaser, the trio of stars talk through their summer plans. “I’m just gonna, like, travel a little, work a little,” says ScarJo before Bad Bunny alludes to some cryptic activities.
“I guess just doing awesome stuff,” says Bad Bunny. “Oh, yeah. Like, what?” asks Johansson.
“Just awesome stuff,” the reggaetonero answers. “Don’t worry about it. My life is awesome, especially in summer.” Bad Bunny adds that he’ll be “eating breakfast for dinner” over the next few months, garnering praise from Thompson, who admits: “Damn, that is cool.”
While Bad Bunny may be changing his eating habits this summer, he’s also hosting a residency in Puerto Rico starting on July 11, playing 30 shows at the island’s beloved José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum. The residency will precede a world tour in the fall to celebrate Debí Tirar Más Fotos.
Saturday’s episode will conclude the 50th season of Saturday Night Live, which featured appearances from Lady Gaga, Timothée Chalamet, Morgan Wallen, Charli XCX, Coldplay, Chappell Roan, and Stevie Nicks.
