After 13 years in the making, Smash will end its Broadway run on June 22, 2025. Originally a hit NBC series starring Megan Hilty and Katharine McPhee, Smash made its long-awaited debut on The Great White Way back in March — but the curtain is coming down sooner than expected.
The production will play its final performance at the Imperial Theatre in New York City on Sunday, June 22, 2025. Following more than 100 shows, years of anticipation, and a surprising snub at the Tonys, Smash is entering its final week. So, if you’re hoping to catch it before it closes, we’ve rounded up the best places to buy tickets online.

Directed by five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman, Smash stars Robyn Hurder, Brooks Ashmanskas, and Krysta Rodriguez in a show about the making of a Broadway musical based on the life of Marilyn Monroe (easy enough?). Audiences get to witness fan-favorite numbers like “Let’s Be Bad” and “Let Me Be Your Star,” along with “History Is Made at Night.” Adding to the magic, it’s also the first time the acclaimed composer-lyricist Marc Shaiman brings his work to life at the Imperial Theatre.
“Broadway likes to keeps you waiting, but after 50 years, Marc Shaiman has finally made it to the Imperial Theatre,” Smash Broadway said on its official Instagram account when the show first premiered. “From seeing Bette Midler in Fiddler on the Roof, to auditioning for Pippin — Smash Bway has finally brought him right where he belongs.”

StubHub
Right now, StubHub still has inventory left for the remaining performances of Smash, but act fast because they’re selling out quickly.

Ticketmaster’s user-friendly platform allows you to easily sort through available seats and select the preferred date for your event. Plus, the retailer often offers resale tickets, providing a great option if the date you want to attend is sold out.
Vivid Seats
While Smash only offers performances in New York, if you’re traveling far and wide to see the show (and you should), we recommend using Vivid Seats. It’s convenient, has great prices, and has an extensive map of the theater so you can check your proximity to the stage.

SeatGeek is one of our favorite options because they will always show you how to get the best bang for your buck based on “price, view, and location.”
